Robert Allen -- These scars are from birds. That’s where birds hit you, or peck you, or you handle 'em and gentle them down. You have to gentle 'em down so you can fight 'em. You just mess with 'em, work with 'em. They are wild. I’m retired. I used to travel around to cock fights. I don’t travel around too much now. See, there is only three legal states left: New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, and they are about to shut it down in one or two other states, and probably shut us down, too. But I’ll still raise 'em and sell 'em to Mexico, the Philippines. There is about 1,200 different breeds. They are called game cocks. If they were barnyard chickens-- they'd kill them at two months. This way we don’t fight 'em 'til they are two years old. These birds are raised to fight, and they will fight. You can’t put them together or they’ll kill each other. I’ve been doing it for 48 years, and I thoroughly enjoy it. People think it’s a cruel sport. What’s cruel is, they have all sorts of things in the paper. Abortion is cruel. These birds are taken well care of 'til they are two years old, and they fight by instinct. They are not trained to fight. They are not doped up. It’s their natural way. I don’t see anything wrong with it.
