The Australian Critical Race And Whiteness Studies Association (ACRAWSA) wish to invite you all to participate to the Second Edition of its WEB based Discussion Forum that will start on Wednesday 11 of October. ACRAWSA hopes that this web Forum will promote exciting and vigorous discussions of key papers and topical issues within the field of critical race and whiteness studies.
Members of ACRAWSA and Conference participants are all invited to discuss and comment on any of the articles written by a selection of keynote speakers from the BorderPolitics of Whiteness Conference. For this Second Edition you will be able to download, read and comment on the work of Professor Aileen Moreton-Robinson, Associate Professor Joseph Pugliese, Professor Cheryl Harris and Professor David Theo Goldberg.
In this Edition, all participants are also most welcome to use this space to open dialogues and discussions on other relevant material and/or topical issues or raise different questions. Participants can write short or longer commentaries or quick responses in a formal or informal style.
The Discussion Forum will be open for 5 weeks, until 18 November 2006. The papers however due to copyrights issue are only available for downloading for first three weeks. During the five weeks, we invite you to read the papers and post your comments and thoughts in the appropriate forum and to check back often within the 5 weeks and read the comments posted by other people and possibly respond to them if you so desire.
